The scope of work for this charming 1913
Craftsman included turning a sunroom
into a master bath, updating the kitchen
and bringing back the Craftsman features
to the exterior of the home which had
been lost over the years. The sunny new
master bath includes many period details:
custom windows to match the rest of the
house, a marble topped vanity with built-
in medicine cabinet mirrors, white
beadboarding wainscoting, a large
shower with subway tiles, and a basket
weave marble floor. In the kitchen, the
cabinets were left in place but received
new doors and paint as well as a
combination of purple heart wood and
stainless steel counters. A gourmet
range and real linoleum floors complete
the look. To bring character back to the
exterior, new Craftsman style trim
accentuates the windows and a custom
designed front door and entry gate
welcome guests. Finally, new paint
highlights the added architectural details.
